i want to cheat

i managed to get Edward's gaze and the image of shirtless Jacob New Moon out of my head for a while (that means for about 3 weeks) until it opened yesterday. of course malaysia will have to wait for another week. from what i read the movie is either out-of-the-world-amazing or out-of-the-world-sucks. it's not hard to guess which one's a girl's opinion and which one's a guy's.
which reminds me that my New Moon's watching party that will consist of 5 will also include a guy (who is not so fond of Twilight either). now i'm thinking of a way to kick him out of the group. i've waited one long year for the movie i just don't want to ruin it.
but i won't be watching the movie soon because unfortunately my watching party are a bunch of busy people. the earliest date everyone is available is not for another 2 weeks. that is so inconsiderate guys !
(but they won't know if i cheat, right?)

reason i'm thinking of cheating

FT weekend

so i do not have any guest this weekend. it was raining, i did go out for a total of 4 hours in the past 48 hours. i opened my facebook page which as per my tweet is for the Farm Town. they gave me like 100 lottery coins today. i have not been farming for almost 2 months now. if you've never tried the game, i'm not sure if you should believe all the good stories you hear.

i loathe the game again immediately after opening it. it always freezes my pc. i still have only that 1 neighbour who was kind enough to send me a blue bunny (i sent him back a donkey). there was another person offered to be a neighbour when told that i don't have enough. for people who don't play farmtown, we need neighbours to earn some trophies and permission to employ. we need 8 ! i was trying to figure out how to add him as 'friend / FT neighbour' and lost him without his email. now, how on earth people claim to have thousands of facebook friends? i need another about 58k points to level 34. 58 bloody K. i bought a seeder and two other huge machine (they now have some serious machine y'all), collected about 2,000 points from farming and was ready for something less abusive, like a nap.

i love the rain because it makes 2pm feels like 7am... just the perfect setting for the bed, a silly book and the yummiest beverage i can make.

then my back kinda cramped. for 5 seconds i had a plan to exercise but i thought it will ruin the whole raining mood. so i went to farm again. another 2,000 points later i had enough motivation to go lie down again. i secretly hope my only neighbour will send me some fuel for my new seeder and a pink hammock.

TGI 6pm F

i had my usual friday lunch with jones this afternoon ('usual' is a strong word). we went to her company's training centre 5 min drive from her office and i envied her immediately.
the club house is a super nice place for staffs to use (mainly it's meant for entertaining clients and err.... training but don't worry about me) complete with a spa which offers an RM50 body massage and a restaurant which serves lamb shank + super yummy mashed potato for only RM12 ! it was cozy, the crème brûlée and the sago + ice cream were yummy and there were not so many people around -- my kind of place. i might drop by and bug jones more often.
we are both quite comfortable with our friday lunch arrangements so far. sometimes we just eat in one of the cafetarias in her building (another nice place too -- seriously i don't understand what these people do where do they get these caterers?), or any restaurant in sogo or if i can drive fast enough we'll go to the nasi ayam (hainan?) in bukit bintang.
or if i could convince jones, she'll call her supervisor and take half day off and we'll be the happiest kids on earth for the rest of the day. but this happens very rarely of course.
now thinking about it, i realize most of my friends don't bring their kids along when we meet up though i'm ok if they do. may be they just want a few hours off being a mother.
there was only once when jones brought her second baby daughter with us. yeap there were some extra process to it like the diaper break, the feeding, the baby's car seat but it all went ok i think. though i do remember having to drive extra careful (and nervously too) because there's a baby on board y'all !
the first day trinket and i brought her son R out, trinket seemed to have all the plans carefully laid out, it was hillarious. even if we were nervous we didn't admit it. only that when she opened the bag to feed R she realized she forgot to bring the milk bottle ! so i was left with crying R in his stroller while she ran to buy and 'sterilize' the bottle. i thought it was one of the most awkward 10 minutes of my life rocking R's stroller, trying to make some funny sound and faces while people from the next table and the waitresses stopped by to see how we were doing.
have a good weekend !

some thoughts while waiting in line

between work, trying to make new friends and yes, be skinny by this friday (if you read my tweet), i do manage to find some time for my self-mixed-and-self-claimed-mad-yummy mocha, blanket and my favourite tv shows.
so here's my current favourite (i once thought once CSI NY, Desperate Housewives and Lost end their seasons i will then be left with nothing to watch and may be i'll finally get to start working on new home projects... not a chance. tv shows are invented to get you glued all year round).
Big Love S3, Mondays 11pm
i love finding out about other people's culture etc though of course finding it out from a tv series..... might not be a very good idea. sometimes i do look back into mine fascinated with the differences, similarities and how people (and myself) think* of that. when i travel i go to museums to learn about the locals (now that i admit of going to museums and libraries i hope you still think that i'm err, cooler than i make myself sound) while all my friends usually do not... ok, may be except for trinket. she did go to a sex museum in europe. oh wait, i was supposed to talk about Big Love.

Dirty Sexy Money S2, Tuesdays 10pm
though i love the show i can understand why it was axed. some series run its course quicker than others (do you catch that, CSI? yours was 3 seasons ago)
Sex And The City S1, Wednesdays 11.30pm
yeap i've tweeted it. i'm 11 years late. not sure if i'm gonna fall in love with it yet (because i have issue with Big. usually not a promising sign. i have issue with Chuck Bass *all Chuck Bass fans gasp now* and i'm not so fond of Gossip Girl)
*speaking of -- on a trip visiting Country X, my friends and i were waiting in line at a public bathroom in a mall when suddenly a local lady squatted and peed, yes peed... on the bathroom floor in front of the cubicle, in front of us. we did not dare move a muscle ! but it's interesting (if i can use the word) how one thing being perceived differently by two different group of people. love Babel and Crash?

the host

for the past several weekends, i had a guest staying at my house. this reminds me that may be i should dig back that very-old-and-now-forgotten plan of getting a new place. a real home. with matching fork and spoon and at least 2 plates of the same kind, or a couch that is not bought in 1981.

my bedroom after some effort of tidying up looks ok trust me. i mean if you compare it with the state of my kitchen or living room, my bedroom is totally out of my kitchen's league. my kitchen is from a different planet. i can understand how small my kitchen and my living room must feel being neighbours to my bedroom.

plus, as mentioned in my older posts, there's a newly built highway next to my apartment's building now -- so it has been about a year i think that i've been sleeping 20 metres away from a busy highway. yeap twen-ty. i hope i did tell you that one of the 2,103 reasons i fell in love with the apartment many years ago was the now-gone green hilly terrain right in front of my balcony and bedroom windows.

though the highway doesn't bother me that much nowadays, i still dream of waking up in my underpants grabbing my towel from the balcony because we know it's one of the perks of living next to a jungle to quietness and inhaling the freshest air in the morning. bliss.
